Pipeline companies must recognize the impact their pipelines have on the environment. Therefore, some have adopted elaborate hydrostatic testing and rehabilitation programs to continually certify the integrity of their pipelines.

Our freeze technology will meet the requirements of a particular job and keep the integrity of the pipeline intact. For example, in the images above, we were hired to locate a pinhole sized leak in an 8" gas main, using liquid nitrogen and our pipe freeze plug technologies, to form a solid ice freeze plug so that the pipe could be pressure tested and the location of the leak could be located. Though not necessary for every job, In this case, we used technologies such as Magna-Flux pipeline testing to determine if there were any weaknesses left on the pipe where we formed our solid ice freeze plug. All tests proved that the pipe remained undamaged by the freeze process.
